Our amazing volunteers are at the heart of VisionPK, helping us deliver life changing services to people in Perth and Kinross living with sight and/or hearing loss.

Their time, skills and dedication support everything we do, from helping at social groups, health and well-being activities, events to fundraising and administration.

We’re always looking for new volunteers to join our team.

We welcome applications from people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels, from those taking their first steps into volunteering to those with a lifetime of skills and wisdom to share, and everyone in between.

We’ll provide the training you need to feel confident in your chosen role and support people with sight and hearing loss effectively.

Volunteering can strengthen your CV, but its benefits go far beyond work experience. It’s a rewarding way to develop new skills, meet people and make a meaningful difference in your community.

Fundraising Volunteer

Help us raise vital funds and awareness so VisionPK can continue supporting people with sight and hearing loss across Perth and Kinross.

As a fundraising volunteer, you could help at events and collections, run stalls, promote campaigns or share new fundraising ideas. Whether you can offer a few hours occasionally or support us regularly, your time and enthusiasm will make a real difference.

No previous fundraising experience is needed, we’ll provide all the guidance and support you need

Reception and Admin Volunteer

Reception and Administration Volunteer

Be a friendly and welcoming first point of contact for people visiting or contacting VisionPK, while helping our team with essential day-to-day administration.

The role may include greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, responding to general enquiries, arranging appointments, preparing information, updating records and assisting with filing or other office tasks.

We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organised and comfortable communicating with different people. Basic computer skills would be helpful, and full training and support will be provided.

Health and Wellbeing Activities Volunteer

Health and Wellbeing Volunteer

Help create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for people with sight and hearing loss, predominantly at our Sensory Hub in Perth.

You’ll assist with a range of health and wellbeing activities, helping participants feel included, comfortable and confident. This may involve welcoming people, preparing activity spaces, offering friendly encouragement and supporting the smooth running of sessions.

You don’t need previous experience just a friendly, patient and positive approach. We’ll provide the training and guidance you need.

Social Group Volunteer

Help people with sight and hearing loss feel connected, included and supported by volunteering with one of our community-based social groups across Perth and Kinross.

You’ll help create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, chat with group members and assist with activities, refreshments and the practical running of sessions. You may also help people participate confidently and get the most from each gathering.

No previous experience is needed just a friendly, patient and reliable approach. We’ll provide the training and support you need.
