We are raising awareness about the importance of having a Will and the massive impact you can have on those with sensory loss by leaving a gift in your Will.

Leaving a gift in your Will is a generous way to support the work that we do in the local community to help those who are blind, partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing.

Every penny counts and you don’t have to have lots of money to leave something to VisionPK after you’ve taken care of your family. Even small amounts can make a huge difference, for example:

£100

would buy assistive technology to demonstrate how it can help our clients to stay connected

£250

could pay for an outing allowing people with a sensory impairment to get together, support one another and get out and about

£500

could train 10 volunteers to support lonely or isolated people through their sight or hearing loss journey

Wendy Stenberg, VisionPK’s Fundraising Manager said: “Gifts in wills are crucial to our charity’s work and the lasting impact of previous gifts has been enormous.

“People are always surprised about how many charities wouldn’t survive without the generous donations of gifts in Wills, and VisionPK are no different. By remembering us in your will, you are ensuring that we can create a lasting impact for those with sensory loss for years to come. And every penny donated stays in the Perth and Kinross area so you can be sure your money is benefiting your local community.”

Writing a will is the only way to ensure that your wishes are carried out after you’re gone. Despite this, research has found that over 1 in 2 UK adults still haven’t made a will.

VisionPK have teamed up with Perthshire law firm, MacNabs, to offer our clients, their partners or spouses a complimentary Will writing service.

Macnabs are offering friends of VisionPK a free ‘straightforward*’ will that expresses your wishes for your assets and property after your death.
