Whether you’re a client, potential client, member, volunteer, member of the public or a health and social care professional – everyone is welcome.
Our drop-in sessions at our VisionPK Sensory Centre in Perth are at the following times:
Drop-in Services at Crieff Community Hospital (currently suspended)
For people living in the Crieff area, our drop-in service is available on the first Wednesday of each month at Crieff Community Hospital, King Street, Crieff from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The NHS Hearing Aid drop-in clinic, offering a free re-tubing and replacement battery service, runs at the same time (please remember to take your yellow book to receive hearing aid batteries).
No appointment is necessary for either service.
A FREE drop-in hearing aid clinic offering a re-tubing and replacement battery service is available across Perth & Kinross. This clinic is part of a Tayside-wide service offered by specially trained volunteers.
The volunteers are trained by NHS Tayside’s Audiology Service and can replace the tubing in ear moulds and provide replacement batteries for NHS hearing aid users. Unfortunately, volunteers are unable to re-tube open fit aids which have the thin wire with tip in ear.
It is important that hearing aid users bring along their yellow book as this is required to be produced to receive batteries.

In partnership with NHS Tayside, VisionPK has a presence at the Low Vision Aid Clinic at Perth Royal Infirmary. Timely and individual support can be offered to individuals attending the Clinic. This service was developed in light of evidence suggesting the need for early support for people with sight loss.
