Taking a Leap of Faith for VisionPK
People take on all sorts of fun challenges for charity but none so brave as Mary Gavin and Alison Henry who chose to jump out of a plane and try skydiving to raise funds for us.
Their first attempt was supposed to be on the 3rd December but after a 7 hour wait it was decided that the weather just wasn’t good enough. However, on a much sunnier day on the 5th December both of these brave ladies jumped out of the plane at 10,000 feet and sailed gracefully back down to earth. Alison absolutely loved the experience and said she would love to do it again. Mary wasn’t quite so sure. It might not be for everyone but what an amazing experience and an incredible fundraising effort with £2318 being raised between them.
