Community Development Worker

Salary:  £27,278 – £29,259 pro-rata
Hours:  3 days / week (18 hours), at least one day office based

VisionPK would like to recruit an experienced Community Development Worker to develop, implement, facilitate and evaluate our new Reconnect project, an ongoing programme of group activities, learning and support for visually impaired people, funded for the next 3 years by the National Lottery Community Fund.

With at least 2 years community development experience, your experience will include working with older people, setting up and facilitating groups, recruiting and managing volunteers and using an assets based / co-production approach to your work.  You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, with excellent people and communication skills. You will also need to be flexible, open to change and fit well with our values.
